The artist

Stories you can feel.

“Rooted at the piano, never confined to one sound.”

Short bio below is available for venue listings and editorial use.

Courtney Thompson is a Texas singer, songwriter and pianist creating emotionally vivid music about transformation, connection and becoming. Rooted at the piano but never confined to one genre, she brings intimacy and power to both her recordings and live performances.

Her forthcoming album Through traces a journey from heartbreak and uncertainty toward self-trust and connection. Its first single, “Walkin’ In Blue,” introduces a gritty blues-rock and soul-blues side of a wider body of work. A magna cum laude graduate of West Texas A&M University and founder of Crash Sweetly Sounds in McKinney, Courtney draws on a lifetime of musicianship and storytelling.
